These are some of the tools I made to produce the variety of card based plants in Ironwood. Read below for more information on how each tool works.

Card Sheet Tool (Strand Maker):
This is a modeling/layout tool that can do hair, branched plants, and everything in between. It's extremely versatile and outputs a vertex colored high poly model, grid to bake it to, and has presets to get started. The tool also has a built in heads up display and useful display modes.

Ironwood Small Card Plants Sets/Mounds Tool:
This was a tool I used to create a lot of the moss and small plant mound/set content for Ironwood. It handled a variety of looks and could output an entire set at one time.

Grass Tools:
These were two tools, one for modeling high poly grass with various looks and vertex coloring. The other for baking that set of high poly content to cards and creating configurations out of them.

Leaf Maker:
This is a versatile tool for modeling leaves. This could create a variety of high poly vertex painted leaves for card sheets. Like most of these tools the settings for one leaf look were easily expandable with extents into a whole set of similar looking but different leaves for variety.

Configuration Tools:
These were quickly coded tools to take various card sheets I'd made and allow me to make sets of configurations for them. Like all these tools they use random extents and output an entire set in one go. Each one was an interesting challenge to code and usually involved modeling the skeletons of plants with curves procedurally, branching loops, and populating them with the card sheets based on measuring lengths, a useful trick for card population to match the right length to the proper shape.
