These are set models and the tool used in the Jedi: Survivor Void Koboh Matter treatment. Generated in Houdini.
The Koboh matter treatment was an interesting challenge involving visually developing the look, creating tools to create the myriad shapes, putting together a set of content for artists to use in their levels, and creating the Niagara effects/Blueprints around interactions. The end result was a cohesive treatment across the game that unified a set of gameplay tools.

Koboh Matter Houdini Tool: Created high poly one off models, set piece high poly models, tiling textures, curve low poly configurations populated by set models, and custom curves populated by set models. I categorized the basic types of Koboh Matter as: reefs, fans, tendrils, brambles, growths, spheres, and crystals.
